Inês Varandas (2001, Chaves) is a Portuguese visual artist based in Stockholm. Her artistic practice researches ideas of conditions and circumstances, through the production of objects. Conditions as climate, atmosphere, energy transferring, as well as emotional states, states of making; personal, social, and material themes. There is an attention towards moments of change (whether radical or concealed) and a desire to exist in the moment where touch originates transformation.
Her work usually takes the form of sculpture, installation, and text.
